Ireland—Let the magic begin!

DROMOLAND CASTLE, ROYAL HISTORY
We start our trip with our stay at Dromoland Castle, just 10 minutes from Shannon Airport on Ireland’s famous west coast. Dromoland, which traces its history back to Gaelic royal families, is set on the shore of Lough Dromoland and is surrounded by over 410 acres of breathtaking scenery.

From our deluxe accommodations amidst the old world elegance, we will play the famous links at Lahinch, founded in 1892. When accepting the challenge to lay out the tees and greens, Old Tom Morris of St. Andrews said, “I consider the links as fine a natural course as has ever been my good fortune to play over.” The Lahinch links can now be your good fortune to play!

We will also play golf at Doonbeg, a modern links course with slightly wider fairways and equally magnificent coastal views. Another treat awaits us at nearby Adare Manor which features one of Ireland’s finest parkland courses designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr.

While enjoying these world renowned links courses on the rugged west coast of Clare, we will also take in the sights of the famous Cliffs of Moher and perhaps sample a little bit of traditional music in one of the many pubs in a locality that has long been known as the "capital" of Irish traditional music. And when in the land of stout, we might even try a pint or two of Guinness! You will also enjoy exceptional Irish cuisine as we wine and dine at Vaughan Lodge, a special gem, and fulfill our dining pleasures at the heavenly Black Oak.
